____________________The Big Idea

Today Thinkpublic choose Bristol’s idea for ‘The Real Work Experience’ to be developed further as the future of the initiative. Alex, myself and the attendees of the workshop will now work closely with Thinkpublic to refine the potential of the idea. ‘The Big Idea’ was produced to sum up the days events and the development of the idea - Which is to be given to the 27 participants who took part in the workshop.

Thank you to U.W.E and everyone who took part in the workshops without your attendance and contributions we wouldn’t have developed such a strong idea.

It’s the second week I’ve been guest lecturing at U.W.E on a typography module with first year students. I’m currently on the search for type specimen posters / booklets to help with the second half of the module - if you’re able to provide any please get in contact at mail@chris-clarke.co.uk.

I’ve recently got involved with the initiative ‘the real work experience’ aiming “to open design graduates' eyes to the opportunities of using their skills beyond the usual design roles and the possibility of working in the public sector.” As part of the programme I will be hosting a workshop on the 21st of November at U.W.E. If you would like to take part in the workshop please contact me on mail@chris-clarke.co.uk.
